Let’s get on with another two hours of uplifting, funky house tunes that’s been gracing our ears for the last few weeks.We’ve got a fantastic collection of new music for you this month from some of our good friends around the house scene.

Ex-Bassmonkey Danny “Gadgetman” Bond has sent us his first commercial funky-breakbeat remix of the emerging pop act PDG v Anniemouse “Can’t Stop The Boogie“. We wish him luck on his new solo adventure but know, for sure, he’s destined for big things.

(Speaking of the Bassmonkeys, a little bird tells us they’ve been working with Finesse sweetheart Bonnie Bailey on an amazing new remix due for release soon. We’ve been promised an advance play on this when it’s available so stay tuned for more.)

We’ve also got an exclusive early listen to a remix of Jidax & Chynna Blue “Power Of Love” by David Dunne and Andy Daniels, otherwise known as Triple Dee (be sure to check out their weekly show/podcast for plenty of funky house and cheeky banter).

Regular label Hed Kandi also have several compilations out at the moment, including the regularly played “Back To Disco” and “Live Sydney 2011″. We’ve selected a couple of our favourite tracks from each including Jay C & Oliver Lang’s “It Doesn’t Matter” and Jay Santi’s amazing remix of Candi Staton’s “When You Wake Up Tomorrow“.

Loleatta Holloway’s unfortunate passing last month is still close to our heart and we didn’t really get to dedicate much to her last time round so this month sees a couple more tracks by the disco queen, including Hott 22’s remix of “Stand Up” and the banging Satoshi Tomiieremix of “Dreamin’“. Expect more over from the lady over the coming months though – Loleatta is deeply missed, leaving an absolute legacy behind. Rest in peace.

While we prepare for The Comeback Show (Saturday 27th November 2010), we got Ben Spencer to put together another special guest mix just in time for Hallowe’en.

We’re teetering on the edge of funky house with this one, delving into the more twisted side of house, perfect for setting the mood of a hallowe’en weekend. Nonetheless, Ben has produced an absolute stonker of a mix to get you ready for the weekend with some marvellous mixing and a fine selection of “banging tunes”.

August is probably the biggest month on the clubbing calendar. Everyone is jetting off around the world, hitting the clubs and Ibiza is in full swing. Not one to overlook the momentous occassion, we’ve got a special guest mix to keep your cockles warm until the next episode of Funky House Finesse (scheduled for Bank Holiday Weekend).

This month we present an upcoming DJ from Leicestershire, UK, who caught my attention the other month when we sent over a mix after dusting off his decks and records for a well earned comeback. I was impressed with his track selection and ability to take listeners on a journey through a wide range of house genres. The man in question goes by the name of Mr Ben Spencer.

During the late 90s and early Noughties, Ben was a fresh-faced and eager house DJ. Barring a handful of pub/club appearances, his exploits were largely confined to the bedroom. His love for house music dwindled somewhat, but is now back with a vengeance in 2010. Ben is also a drummer, movie lover, gamer, football fan and lager drinker.

Ben has produced a special two hour guest mix for Funky House Finesse this month chock full of astounding house tracks, ranging from minimal to tribal through to disco, electro and finally chillout. I’m sure you’ll enjoy the mix as much as we have.

In the warm up to The Big 30 Show, we’re heading out to Ibiza for a long weekend of partying on the White Isle. To make sure you don’t feel left out, we’ve produced an Ibiza Special mixshow, full of some of the biggest tracks of the Summer.
Featuring the likes of ATFC, Jamie Lewis, Pepper Mashay, Kathy Brown, Rasmus Faber, Mary J Blige, Gramophonedzie,Funkerman and Jay Santi.

Love him or hate him, you can’t deny Dizzee Rascal for trying to bridge the gap between hip hop and house, working with some of the biggest names in the dance industry and, more often than not, delivering some highly innovative productions. I’m certainly feeling this disco inspired track anyway – it just had to be the show opener.

It all builds up to quite a clubby feel with a good 45 minutes of upfront house anthems, not forgetting the monster In The Air from TV Rock andRudy. It’s difficult to pick any favourites but I’m confident we’ll be hearing a lot more of the finale with Chris Ortega and CJ Stone - it has all the ingredients for an Ibiza anthem.
