JnrScottCLR_ProfilePictureJunior Scott started his DJ journey in the early 90’s at the tender age of 16 when he was invited by dj duo of the day Jack’n’Daniels to play set at there weekly slot at the local nightclub. After a storming 2 hour set he was offered a residency on the spot. Junior went on and enjoyed two years at the club as well as playing regular guest slots at The House of Windsor. Junior was able to devolepe his own tripped out style drawing influences from quality DJ’s such as the legendry Marshall Jefferson, Marcus Wyatt, Rocky & Diesel and Mark Wilkinson name but a few. He continued throught the 90′s progressing in London, Djing at Club UK, Leasure Lounge, Sitilite, Chelsea F.C.

Junior took a break from djing for a while but later in Aug 2001 he sent of a mix to a little magazine called Muzik and won the prestigious DJ competition Bedroom Bedlam. From their he went on to secure a monthly residency at an intimate deep house party called Electric Soul in Covent Garden, London. This played host to more quality dj/producers such as Chris Simmonds of Cross Section Records. At the same time Junior was touring the back streets of Brixton at underground venues like Massy Mass, The Junction and The Bug Bar along side tech house pioneer Eddie Richards, Dave Mothersole, Jessie Rose and T-Bone from Canada.

Then in 2002, Junior hooked up with the Reading based Breakin Even Collective for their hedonistic parties held at the Plug and Play Studios and The Fez were quality underground house music is the order of the day. The summer of 2004 brought more good things for Junior and the Breakin Even Collective when they played host to The Big Chill sound system for their “On the Road Tour”.

JuniorScott_ShowImageNEWIn 2005, Junior brought a bar in surrey and is currenlty the owner and resident DJ, he also promotes various house nights in the bar. The Bar has hosted MJ Cole, The Wideboyz, N-Dubs and many more big names. Coming up later this month minimal & tech house label Spin Out records start a monthly residency.

Currently

Junior co-hosts a internet radio called FLIGHT. On this show they champion some of the best new deep and tech house music from around the globe. Check it out forthrightly on www.ssradiouk.com. Sunday nights 8pm-10pm. Finally, Junior continues to play his weekly residency @ Square each and every Friday from 8pm-1am.

Production
Junior attained a Higher Diploma in Music Production from The Academy of Contemporary Music and has since gone on to work for The Factory Productions working on tracks for imprints Born 2 Dance Records and Red Cord. Also for The Hanger, a recording studio of which he was in-house engineer. He recorded a wide range of styles from full live band stuff to more sequence based electronic music.

Future Plans
Junior Scott is looking forward to a new radio show with Kane FM due to start later this year and is also working hard in the studio to bring to you some hot productions: – so watch this space!
