Chris Tall
Music has always been an important part of Chris Tallís life. From the age of 3 when he was given his first 20 key toy keyboard, he gradually grasped a basic understanding of how to make this childish noise evolve into something similar to good sounding music. Suddenly the urge to move away from his limited existence with his friend, the 20-key toy keyboard struck him, when he slowly began using his parentís grand piano. From that point on, he practiced relentlessly.
At one point, in his early teens, he began adapting different genres and sounds that appealed to him. One of them that have had a great impact on his house music-sound is the soulful Motown sound. This sound is constitutes of many contra dictionary emotions and fantastic melodies, often interpreted by great singers and musicians. Somewhere around this time he started producing music on his own. In the beginning it wasn’t anything fancy or elaborated, but simple and plain. He wasn’t to keen on trying to use the time to learn how the mechanisms of producing worked and try to make his productions sound as something you might expect to encounter on the dance floor. He just didn’t care about that.
In the Summer 2008, something in his producing changed. After many years of educating himself, it finally clicked and he could start connecting the dots of what constitutes a professional sound, the Chris Tall sound was born!
From this point, the record companies started listening and taking an interest in his work. At this present time he has various remixes and original signed to a several well respected record labels worldwide.
